AHA Nite, has Jazz scheduled on August 14th with Charles Xavier and the New Bedford Core featuring Rick Britto on Sax; Jim Robitaille on Guitar; Danny Schwartz on Percussion; Rob Massaoud on Bass and Chris Poudrier on Drums. Charles is a New Bedfortd native who has since transplanted to the San Diego area for the past 20 years.
Bridge Street Station, Fairhaven features the Marcus Monteiro Quartet with Jim Robitaille every Tuesday night. The show starts at 9pm.
Candleworks Restaurant, New Bedford on Thursday nights from 7 - 10 P.M. with "Rolnick and Company" featuring Ed Rolnick and Mac Chrupcala.
Cathay Temple, in Mattapoisett John Harrison III & Ann Austin perform every Thursday from 7 to 10 PM.
Gallery X, 169 William Street, New Bedford: hosts Andy McWain's Audible Think improv jazz series on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. www.audiblethink.com
Kinsale Inn, Mattapoisett hosts the Bourbon Street Jazz Society every Monday night at 7 pm with Joe Bolton and Dave Arruda.

The Waterstreet Cafe, in Fall River features Blues, R' n B and Jazz every weekend. There's also a Open Jam Session on Sunday Nights starting at 7:30.

Courtyard Restaurant, in Cataumet, Ann Austin sings and plays piano every Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.
Embargo, on Main Street in Hyannis, Ron Sanfilippo, Bruce Abbott and Michael Lavoie perform every Wednesday from 6:30 - 9:30.
The Grand Cru Bar at the Cape Codder Hotel in Hyannis has live jazz every Friday and Saturday night. Saturday's performances throughout the summer feature John Harrison III, Ann Austin & special guest, Bob Scinicrope on bass.
The Provincetown Art Association and Museum continues their "Summer Jazz Concerts with Bart Weisman" series on Wednesday, July 30, featuring Ann Austin (vocals) & John Harrison III (piano) with Chris Rathbun (bass) and Bart Weisman (drums). The concert starts at 6:00 PM.
Roadhouse Café in Hyannis features the Lou Colombo/Dick Johnson Jazz Ensemble every Monday night. Friday and Saturday nights feature the areas best piano players at The Roadhouse Café's vintage piano bar.

JVC Newport Jazz Festival has released its lineup beginning Friday, August 8th, when Chris Botti and Ledisi will perform at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, at Fort Adams State Park, you can hear the Wayne Shorter Quartet; Chris Botti; Dave Holland Quartet with Gonzalo Rubulcaba; Ledisi; Fred Wesley and Lettuce; Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band; Charlie Haden's Trio; Jacob Fred's Jazz Odyssey; the Warren Vache Quintet and the Aaron Goldberg Trio.
Sunday's event at the Fort includes Herbie Hancock; Sonny Rollins; Soullive; Anthony Hamilton; Guilermo Klein y los Grucas; Chris Potter's Underground; George Wein's Newport All Stars; Alden; Marlo Benevento's Trio with Chris Potter; the Marc Rapp Band; Empirical; and Esperanza Spaulding.

The Colonial Inn, 48 Monument Square, Concord, MA presents Jimmy Mazzy & The Last Minute Men - Traditional Jazz Band on Wednesday, Lisa Marie's Red Hot Blues with the Workingman's Band on Friday and Kathleen Kolman and the Workingman's Jazz Band on Saturday. All shows start at 8 PM.
The Lilypad in Cambridge, has jazz most nights. The Fringe performs on Monday. And Wednesday night opens late with KGBG (Kaufman, Gertz, Bergonzi and Guerrero) at 10pm.

Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, presents 78 year old vocalist Ed Reed accompanied by the Peck Almond Quartet on July 24th. The Roy Haynes Quartet will be performing at Scullers on July 25th and 26th.
